Our goal is to provide you and your pet with a worry free experience. Our policies are in place to ensure that we don’t ever compromise the safety and well being of your four legged family members or our animal caretakers.
- All pet sitting services will be provided in your home where your pet is most comfortable and less likely to become stressed or anxious.
- Animals must be up to date on their rabies vaccinations.
- If your animal needs around the clock medical care, he or she would be better suited boarding at a vet's office.
- If your animals have access outside via a special doggy or cat door, the doors must be locked or deactivated for the duration of our care. Dogs will be required to be on a leash at all times while outdoors. The only exception will be if you have a secure, fenced in yard.
- When returning from an out-of-town trip, we ask that you call or email us to confirm that you have arrived safely. If we don’t hear from you, we will continue to visit your home and provide services. Corresponding charges will apply.
- The risk of dogs getting into fights at dog parks is very high. Therefore, we will not take your dog to a dog park. However, we will provide a safer alternative, such as a private, on-leash walk or hike.
- For all multi-day pet care requests, we require visits each day for cats and other small critters. For dogs and farm animals, at least two visits are required each day. The reason for this is that health issues could surface that require immediate attention. We encourage multiple visits each day for all types of animals to ensure not only their physical well being, but also their emotional well being.
- For vacation/out-of-town pet care, we cannot share responsibilities with others, such as neighbors, friends, family members due to liability risks.
- If your dog is an excessive puller, we will require that you purchase a special harness or Gentle Leader for use while on walks. This will ensure the safety of both your dog and our walker.
- We cannot accept animals who have shown aggression toward humans or other animals.
- We cannot accept animals who are overly protective and will not allow us to easily access the home.
